BruceNode Is Officially Open to the Public

Sixteen days ago, we opened BruceNode in early access. A small group of testers poked at it, broke things, and helped us find what a real production launch needs.

Today — Monday, April 20, 2026 — we're opening the doors to everyone.

What happened in those 16 days

We spent the early-access window in a focused hardening sprint. The numbers:

• 88 commits between April 4 and today
• 3 full audit sweeps — a 3-agent security review, a 5-agent full-stack audit, and a QA round
• Invoice billing rewrite — replaced Stripe subscriptions with a custom invoice engine so renewals are transparent and refundable
• Zero customer-reported bugs carried into public launch
• 5 SEO-focused blog posts seeded + comparison guides queued
• 5 free tools live at brucenode.com/tools

This wasn't a stealth period. It was a public shakedown that matured into a release-ready platform. We'd rather launch boring than launch broken.

Why we built this

We have been running Minecraft servers for years. Bruce, the Boston Terrier who stars in every hero image you'll see, was the compass for the brand: steady, friendly, takes himself just seriously enough. We built BruceNode because every hosting provider we used felt like it was designed by someone who'd never actually run a server. Every decision in this product was an answer to "why does the incumbent make this painful?"

If we did our job, the first impression should feel like relief.

Roadmap — what's next

• EU node (Germany) — Q3 2026
• Asia-Pacific node (Singapore) — Q4 2026
• Custom Pelican theme with the Bruce mascot on the login screen
• Passkey + WebAuthn login for the 2FA-tired
• Comparison guides for every major host — BruceNode vs Apex, vs Shockbyte, vs Nodecraft, honestly
